I love Joe, he helped me years ago and dont realise it, I love Ilford BUT if its that good Joseph, why would you rather be in a pop up bed in the back of a cab of a fuck off massive lorry on the A8 in France rather than the wonderful A118 of Ilford!

I remember when popping down to Ilford to go shopping was a nice experience (it was in Essex back then) . Mind you, I remember the same about East Ham (when it had an M&S and a lot less bookies and finger lickin' halal chicken huts ) and moving from Mile End to Dagenham was a step up.
This was back in the early 80s.

Fuck me how times change.
